Janie Cordaro  (vocals, fiddle)  Janie began her musical involvement with bands by lending her sultry background vocals and engaging harmonies to the arrangements performed by the rock bands “Hopyard” and “Kick Start.”  She sang throughout both high school and college with various performance choirs as well as within the religious community.  At her husband’s urging, the former Eastman School classical violin student took her fiddle off the wall where it had spent the last couple of decades, dusted it off, and began to get reacquainted with it under the tutelage of the late, renowned Rochester musician, Dennis Monroe.   Janie studies violin at the Eastman Community School.
Webster native Frank Cordaro (guitar, vocals) has studied guitar for the past several years with current Friends Unplugged band mate, Warren Lee, as well as with well-known Rochester guitarist Steve Greene.  He played both electric lead and rhythm guitar with local rock bands “Hopyard” and “Kick Start.”  Responding to numerous requests for more showcasing of his warm, clear vocals, Frank has begun adding more lead and backup vocals to the Friends Unplugged repertoire.
Scottie Knox (guitar, vocals) has entertained friends for years with his acoustic and 12–string renditions of popular rock, country, gospel and religious music favorites.  From stage to coffeehouse, sanctuary to campground, his raspy vocals combined with his energy and enthusiasm for musical
performance is anticipated and enjoyed by all.  Prior to joining
Friends Unplugged, Scottie was a vocalist and rhythm guitar player with the rock groups "Hopyard" and "Kick Start."  Scottie has performed as a feature soloist and musician in many contemporary Christian music settings.
Warren Lee, (guitar, vocals) originally from Rochester, left New York at age 19 to spend the next 20 years traveling the country following his dream of learning, playing and perfecting his mastery of the guitar.  He has both played and recorded with bands from all over the country and has shared the stage with such notables as Bob Seger, Matthew Sweet, Johnny Vegas and many others. Locally he has played with “Better Days” and “Stronghold” and he has appeared in a variety of venues with many accomplished Rochester musicians.  After returning to New York, he opened a successful guitar instruction business where he now spreads the joy of music full-time to adults and youth throughout the Rochester region.
